Introduce yourself!:)
My name is Michele and I live in Massachusetts with my fiancé. We bought a house in the summer of 2008 and are working to make it our perfect home .

Tell us a bit about your business..
I make hand-wrapped bangle bracelets and earrings. I love working with bright, fun colors. My fiancé always teases that my supplies are taking over the house one room at a time.

What inspired you to start making jewelry?
I started my first jewelry business when I was eight. I made necklaces for the elementary school PTA so that they could sell them at the school holiday fair. When I saw all of the other kids buying my necklaces, I was hooked and knew that one day I would have my own jewelry company.

When you're not being crafty, what do you do?
Plan my wedding which is going to be on October 17, 2009. I also love to read books and magazines, watch movies, and I love going out to eat to try different foods, however, most of the time I’m being crafty.

What’s your favorite book, song, movie & website?
Lately my favorite book (or series of books) is Twilight. Ah, it’s a guilty pleasure! I love all of the Kevin Smith comedies… I think Mall Rats is my all time favorite. My favorite website? Etsy of course!

How do you promote your work?
I get featured in blogs as much as possible. I use Twitter (craftychick101), Facebook and I have my own blog (http://www.craftychick101.blogspot.com).

What are your short-term & long-term goals?
Short-term, I would like to promote my shop so that my jewelry becomes recognizable. I’d love to grow my Etsy business. Long term I would like to design jewelry as a full-time job and have a brick and mortar store.

I love to deep sea scuba dive!
